Depart at 10.00am for the must see attraction in Cairns, the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. The cableway is a world first eco-friendly experience quietly traversing World Heritage listed tropical rainforest. It spans 7.5 kilometres of pristine rainforest and guests will see and learn about one of the most botanically fascinating areas on earth from the quiet refuge of a six-person gondola.

Enjoy free time and shopping in the haven that is Kuranda Village with its upmarket restaurants, cafes and bars, exotic handcrafted goods, aboriginal artefacts, art, fresh produce and bric-a-brac before transferring to the Mabi Rainforest for the Gone Wild tour action by luxury coach.

Starting in a rainforest clearing equipped with welcoming rainforest shack, barbecues and rest room facilities, you will witness Mark Culleton's Birds of Prey and Animal Show from 5pm followed by a fully guided interpretive rainforest tour. The unforgettable "Gone Wild with the Locals" Tour will introduce you to some of the most enchanting and rare rainforest wildlife. Meet a variety of Australian natives including pademelons, possums, bats, bandicoots, the endangered Lumholtz tree kangaroo, and even that elusive and extraordinary monotreme, the platypus.

The finale to an excellent Aussie evening is a traditional barbecue dinner and night time adventure trek into the darkened Mabi rainforest to discover a lively nocturnal community.

5:00pm Arrive at Bonadio Farm and enjoy the "Birds of Prey Show" presented by zoologist Mark Culleton
5:30pm At dusk walk 100 metres to the banks of the Barron River to look for the unique duck-billed monotreme, the platypus with local naturalist and JPT Tours Cairns Guide
6:00pm Return to the rainforest shack for a hearty barbecue dinner with entertainment. Expect some cute, furry, uninvited nocturnal rainforest inhabitants for dinner!
