New 2010 Tour Options

Two new tours to celebrate 2010 The JPT Tour Group celebrates a brand new year with two new tours in the Great Southeast, with pick-ups from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, delivering the thrills of Australia Zoo teamed with a deluxe night in Caloundra or an eco-escape to the pristine beauty of the Scenic Rim.

Chief executive officer Bob Brett said, "in line with our mission statement to deliver an ever-evolving tour menu of the best of Queensland, JPT Tours has delivered two brand new experiences designed to highlight the colour and contrast of the Great Sunshine Way.

"Locals, corporates and international tourists are indicating a trend toward lifestyle tourism taking in breathtaking scenery, unique flora and fauna and rubbing shoulders with Aussie personalities," said Mr Brett. "Both tours, "Crocs & Caloundra" and the "Aussie Outback Adventure", which takes in Spicer’s Hidden Vale Resort, will impress visitors to southeast Queensland with authentic eco-experiences and the ultimate in homegrown Australian hospitality," he added.

The two-day Crocs & Caloundra tour will collect guests from their accommodation and transfer them to Australia Zoo for an animal experience like no other. There is a full day to see Asian elephants and pandas, cuddle koalas, walk with a Sumatran tiger, see huge crocodiles, snakes and unique Australian wildlife whilst learning about Steve Irwin’s quest for conservation in this ecologically diverse nation.

Guests are then transferred to the Rydges Oasis Resort in Caloundra for a night of rest and relaxation in a deluxe spa room. After a hot buffet breakfast JPT’s guests will enjoy a day in Caloundra on the famous Sunshine Coast before heading back to the glorious Gold Coast. The second new tour by JPT Tour Group, "Aussie Outback Adventure" offers the chance to embrace the slow life and see the natural wonders of the Scenic Rim with a stop at Spicers’ Hidden Vale Resort and the Woodlands of Marburg Winery.

For those unfamiliar with the region, the Scenic Rim is a remnant of an ancient volcano, forming the Lamington, Springbrook and Border Ranges as well as the Nightcap and Mount Warning National Parks. The expansive area is dotted with wineries, walking trails and picturesque villages and is only approximately 35klm from Brisbane City! Domestic and international tourists will have the chance to rejuvenate and recharge whilst enjoying wholesome nature experiences like horseriding, boomerang throwing, whip cracking, a 4WD tour of the outback’s wide open spaces and an authentic Aussie barbecue lunch. There is an optional wine tasting stop too.

Bookings are essential at a cost of $295 per adult for the two-day Crocs & Caloundra Tour and $260 per adult for the Aussie Outback Adventure full day tour. All tours can be booked online at www.jpttours.com or by telephoning 07 5512 6444.
