Day one of your Overnight Moreton Adventure Tour will see you experience the thrills of the Eco Explorer Snorkelling tour. Travel by coach from the Gold Coast to meet your ferry transfer to Moreton Island. Enjoy the relaxing cruise and try to spot dugongs and dolphins as you enjoy morning tea on Moreton Bay. Once you set foot on this magnificent sand island you will be transported to a world of wilderness. Travel by 4WD around Moreton Island experiencing sandboarding, the spectacular rocky Cape Moreton and its historic lighthouse and of course the picturesque Blue Lagoon. Enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch on the beach before being transported to your accommodation for the evening.
Accommodation for this tour is in Unit Style rooms and you will have the afternoon at your leisure to explore or just relax on the beach. A barbecue pack is supplied for you to cook your own dinner as the sun sets over the bay.
On Day two enjoy a continental breakfast in your room before you head off to explore the Tangalooma Wrecks. Fifteen vessels were deliberately sunk to provide a breakwater for smaller boats and a wreck dive and snorkel site. As you snorkel the wrecks you will see an amazing amount of sea life including wobbegongs, trevally, kingfish, yellowtail and a diverse array of tropical fish. A picnic lunch will be provided for you to enjoy by the sea before heading back to the mainland, well-rested and with memories to last a lifetime.
