Brisbane is the state capital of Queensland, as the largest city in the state there is so much to do and see you'll be absolutely amazed at the architecture and beauty of this vibrant city.

The city is situated on the Brisbane River on a low-lying floodplain between Moreton Bay and the Great Dividing Range in the area known as Southern Queensland. 

The local indigenous people knew the area as Mian-jin, meaning 'place shaped as a spike'.
